PEAC: Programs To Educate All Cyclists - Tandem program and Education program:  PEAC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Ypsilanti, Michigan and our mission is to empower individuals with disabilities through cycling, active transportation, and self-advocacy education. We believe that biking and alternative modes of transportation play a critical role in increasing community access, fostering social involvement & self-esteem, and promoting healthy lifestyles among individuals with disabilities.  http://www.bikeprogram.org/


Kids on the Go: Summer camp to teach kids with disabilities to ride bikes.  Funds help pay for specialized bikes.  https://www.kidsonthegocamp.com/donate/


Harsen's Island Permanent Bathroom Fund: Harsen's Island is one of the highlights of our Blue Water Ramble charity bike event and our holiday rides.  A permanent bathroom will add greatly to the experience of riding on the island. https://www.hiscfa.org/


Big Family of Michigan Foster Kids Program: We partnered with Tim's Bike Shop of St Clair Shores to provide bikes for foster kids. https://bigfamilyofmi.org/getinvolved/#christmas-room


Mt. Clemens Public Library:  Funds donated to the library were earmarked for media that is cycling related, to education and encourage the public in these interests and pursuits.  The library also provides space to the Clinton River Riders for monthly meetings at no cost. http://www.mtclib.org


League of Michigan Bicyclists (LMB) via $1 per rider from the BWR: LMB is a full time bicycle advocacy group of professionals looking out for bicycling interests, keeping the roads open to bicyclists and working to establish a more informed government and public. They work towards:

·         Improved facilities (such as bicycle lanes and paved shoulders)

·         Acceptance of responsible bicyclists as legitimate road users

·         Education of bicyclists and motorists

·         Representation of bicycling issues within all levels of government

·         Legislation that protects the rights of bicyclists, is effective and properly enforced. www.lmb.org


Polly Ann Trail:  The Polly Ann Trail is a 14.2 mile long, non-motorized trail located in Oakland County Michigan in suburban Detroit.  The trail connects the communities of Orion Township, Oxford Township, the Village of Oxford, Addison Township, and the Village of Leonard. Our popular linear park utilizes the abandoned P.O. & N. railroad corridor, and transverses through some of the most beautiful untouched landscape in northern Oakland County.  http://www.pollyanntrailway.org
