Variety Club: Bikes are most often an integral part of our youth, but for some kids in our community, the prospect of owning a bike is only a dream. For the past 15 years, through the generosity of its supporters, Variety has made that dream a reality for these wonderful and deserving children, providing bikes to hundreds of needy kids, as well as specially-adapted bikes for special needs children. http://variety-detroit.com/programs/bikes-for-kids/
League of Michigan Bicyclists (LMB): LMB is a full time bicycle advocacy group of professionals looking out for bicycling interests, keeping the roads open to bicyclists and working to establish a more informed government and public. They work towards:

· Acceptance of responsible bicyclists as legitimate road users
· Education of bicyclists and motorists
· Representation of bicycling issues within all levels of government
· Legislation that protects the rights of bicyclists, is effective and properly enforced. www.lmb.org
